Hot Air Balloon

expanding near
capacity and rising
I float upon trifles
into the outer atmosphere
then I see
the shrunken specks
of the trifles
that sent me here
way down there
next I am
losing altitude
leaking air
descending
down
back to
the ground
from where
I first began
to expand

I really enjoyed this poem J........ You have just described what they call ''Epidemonology''. or, seeing the bigger picture not just a fraction. very well done. best wishes. Pete.
