Broken Sight

Darling, I understand
believe me
what's so threatening
and yet
it shatters your
image a bit
checking the mirror
of course
but I don't know
if the reflection holds
the cracks
that split you right
down the middle
in the mind
of the confused
man
I want to make
it easier
I want to pull you
together
but the shards are sharp
and the frame spiked
maybe you could try
to close your eyes
and focus
on the inside
until the edges
meet up right.
