The Garden of Eden

by Rabbitt

The Garden of Eden

better than you could imagine
enjoying the fruits of the region
like a Florida retirement
a life of ease and content

there's lots of play in your rope
unless you become a dope
and bite more than you can chew
if you do you may be through

the rope becomes a serpent
and takes a bite of you
and you become a servant
looking for something to do

but you are not through
no noose at the end of that rope
Walmart has a place for you
so there is always hope

Rabbitt, the 'walmart" connection and how you placed it worked for me.

It is scary, cheers for your words...keep them up.

always,

The pendulum
does seem
to swing
between
the garden
of eatin'
and
the garden
of eaten.
Nature's way,
I reckon,
of telling
it can't be
told.

Enjoying reading your poems, Bob ~
