Loving Too Much & Always Losing!!

by wickedone

Love is never what it seems. When one is in
love you cannot see you can only see things
the way you want them to be. You captured my
heart instantly, "You said you loved me, you
would never leave me;" I held on tight trusting
you would be there to hold me through the nights.

Love is twisted and can be strange.
One more time I gave my all with honesty,
raw sexuality, we laughed, we loved we seemed
okay. I should have saw it in your face the facade
was there and once again it remained.

When I love I give my all, somehow with
you I felt I would not repeat the past.
Somehow I thought with you our love was
strong, passionate somehow it would last.

But like the others you too grew tired
ready to move on. Why? There is no why,
and as always no goodbye. One day I awoke
reached out for you, and you were gone.

Everything that reminded me of you no
longer there. While I slept you cleaned
our special place. Now as I look around
the room and see without 'us' our room
looks so sad and so bare.

Once again I loved too much, I cared too
much, like the others; he could not breathe.
As in the past everything once again repeats
itself. I have to wonder am I destined to be alone?

Why did I smother him too at the end?,, when this time
it felt so different. But as always I start out fine, but
before long my love grews tired of my neediness for him
and my push to have him for my own.!
