The Truth To You

You didn’t know or care
Of my despair
A thing so rare it was hard
To disregard
That I was scarred and hurt
You couldn’t see my worth
But I have dirt on you
Ah, yes the truth
Of how you use women
Every time the same
They’re not to blame, You see
It’s you, not me
Not them, that’s the key to why
You make women cry
And sigh, and say
They will not stay
Without you they can’t live another day, blinded
Why don’t they get it?
You toy with their head, Make them feel
A joy so surreal
Just so you can seal the deal, and use
Their bodies, abuse
Their minds, a noose you’ve given them
To Transcend
From one life to another, Never back again, yet
You do not regret
The path that you have set, once more
Another girl cries at your door
But you leave furthermore to find
Another girl, another time
Why don’t they see the signs I did?
Leave her alone, she’s just a kid
She’s got a whole life to live, But from the start
You’ll play it smart
She’ll never imagine you’ll break her heart

This guy sounds like a real creep. I've known men like that and it has been my undoing and misfortune. Like you, I know better now. I love men...but not those kind of men. Live and learn.
