Poems - Guardian Angels ?

Guardian Angels ?

Let me tell you what I know about my Guardian Angel. She sits upon my shoulder so very near to me. She is beautiful, she is kind, she lifts my spirit through the most ifficult of times. She understands without a word spoken. Why she can even see and feel through to my heart when it has been crushed or broken. My Guardian Angel is forever there I have felt her at difficult times throughout my life. When I felt lonely, or life got tough or out of control, something gently almost a whisper, came to mind to give me peace and settle my soul.

Have I ever seen her, no I have not. Yet I try to imagine that she is the most beautiful creature on this earth one would imagine to ever see. With yellow gold spun hair flowing long and clear green eyes with flecks of sparkle thats glitters here and there in the dark its magical to me. She's quick and alert darting around taking note of every minor occurrence. Her gown is flowing white with gold embroidered cuffs and collar, yet at times she appears to be almost translucent. I am mesmerized at attempts to visualize this most unearthly beautiful imaginary Angel that keeps my mind focused, and my feet planted firmly on the ground.

Yes this Angel that is mine I hope she'll stay till the very end of time as I know it to be. She has taken me through some really tough life situations and has shown me the way back again. Yes I know by now your questioning my reasoning with this imaginary Angel what can it be?. I can only share this, each of us must have something to hold onto to help us when the going gets tough and there is no one else around to look up to; believing as such is just another way to hold onto love and compassion for myself and others while living my life with my best intentions for myself.

I leave you with this thought do you ever think you might have a Guardian Angel ? I hope you do because life can be cruel and out of control. It's nice to think there is someone up on your shoulder looking out for no one but you. Maybe you don't have a Guardian Angel or you may call it by another name who cares. It's whatever it takes to get you where you need to be when your down on your luck and you think there is no one out there for you that cares.

Everyone needs something to hold onto in this crazy beautiful world we live in, I prefer to call mine my Guardian Angel. But it can be whomever you want it to be.
