Thirty years

So after thirty years, it seemed alot more.

Trying,lying,hustling...always looking for that score.

I always didnt have enough, and I was always planning more...

I had one up my eternal sleeve, while cleaning out the entire fucking store.

I used my powers for evil, and I used them for so much more.

Thirty years of self medicating, sure makes the mind feel sore.

How do i carry on sober... the word is so alien to me...

Thirty years ive been setting expectations, quitting was never on the list.

I not only looked straight ahead, Every warning given was on purposely missed. I left any reslembance in my wake.... All opposition was easely dismissed.

I dont have regrets like you, maybe that isnt right, I am going quietly now, No yelling ,spitting, no kinda fight.

Thirty years I think is enough , the fact i still breath is a clue. To put it simply...

I just ran out of more to do.
