IMPATIENT HEARTS

FAST TIMES FOR IMPATIENT HEARTS
EVERYTHING EASY EVERYTHING LIGHT
TO GET THERE YOU MUST WORK HARD
EVERYBODY FALLING FOR THOSE LIES

JUST FIFTEEN MINUTES A DAY
WILL GIVE YOU A BELLY SO FAIR

TAKE THIS PILLS, NO DIET NEED
AND YOU WILL BE BEAUTIFUL AND THIN

IMPATIENT HEARTS SEARCHING FOR LOVE
IMPOSSIBLE STANDARDS, NOTHING IS ENOUGH

PURSUING HAPPINESS YOU FORGET TO FEEL IT
PURSUING LOVE YOU FORGET TO GIVE IT

FASTER CARS WON’T LET US SEE THE LANDSCAPE
BIGGER CITIES DON’T KEEP US COMPANY
MORE TECHNOLOGY DON’T KEEP US TOGETHER
