The Darkness in You

This looks so good to me so lets enjoy it now
because we know tonight will tell
and in our pain
tomorrow we will see

The light behind our sulky eyes
the truth behind our cheerful lies
and the darkness in you
will bury the light in me

This feels so right to me
right as it could ever be
so lets take it to the limit
as high as we can bear it
and as we fall
we’ll look down and see

Being eternally attracted to the word "dark" the title caught my attention. Enjoyed the lyric much. Would be interesting to see how different the tune played in my head than the one in yours. (As I have posted quite a few lyric/poems myself I often wondered about that.) ~sabre

Yes, a nice set of set lyrics winterchild...they say love is blind, and on occasions it takes time to catch sight and focus on the darkness that stares us in the face.
