Carried In The Wings Of Passion

Holding on, the agony has strong men look so weak/
Mystic, why we have to struggle to get the valuable things/
Not that we're viewing anything non-essential/
But potential walls that do not intend to crumble/
Happen to have our vision obscure/
Dreams from childhood memories have us lured in realms where our faith hasn't toured/
Now what is new to us has us panic stricken/
Living in these images of a new age of sin/
It's all recycled engulfing the culture of which today is pop/
The crowd is where the heart is drawn and it's hard to be the chess pawn/
Why? Because going to war with the status-quo/
Has to be the most dwarfing battles I've fought/
Man, I feel small yet I'm told of my unrecognised potential/
As I stand so drained by this world I'm in, it's all to big for me to take it in/
I now bow down to the Author and Finisher of my faith/
I shut down this loud mouth that once talked boldly coz it's become an irritating sound/
I'm not able to resist what pursues me/
Enthusiastic but young with blood that has never run deep/
I'm trying to keep strong but reliability fails me/
To keep focused on one thing is probable my end in concerntration/
Coz I'm drawn, so when I right rhymes I want to relate it to people/
Coz what I write is real life not cliches of people/
I don't want to be dignified, I'm dirty and unworthy of His mercy/
I shouldn't even hope for the position of Heavenly clergy/
I'm truly just standing trying to help the next person/
Yet how could I relate if had not experience?/
It's like being a specimen for people to perfect the steps of life/
And walk to the rising of sunshine in their hearts and minds/
