Let me be your troubadour
I’ll sing for you, and play.
Let me be your poet,
We’ll rhyme the night away.

Let me be your conscience,
Then you can do no wrong
Let me be your watchman
For when evil comes along.

Let me know when you are sad
I’ll try to cheer you up
Let me be your rabbit’s foot
I’m bound to bring you luck.

Let me be your shining knight
Upon his mighty steed
Let me handle everything
In your hour of greatest need.

Let me be the one you trust
With the secrets you might keep
Let me be your angel
To watch o’er you while you sleep.

Let me be the everything
You know I want to be.
Let me be the one you love,
As much as I love thee.

Let me…….well, just let me.
