My Darkest Night

A magnet of tragedies
Made in agony
Ill-fated and torn
Wishing I was never born
Pain is too severe
Soul-crushed and deceived
Will this ever stop
Will I ever reach the top
Chained to an atmosphere
Based on lies and greed
Doomed to be singled out
Unheard screams and shouts
Death is calling me
To free or punish me
I chose to stay and fight
Maybe I will see the light
Shining through my darkest night
Shining through my darkest night

there is always light at the end of the tunnel. sometimes, though, it's an oncoming train!
