It is you
whom I trace
when eyes open wide,

whom I braille
when eyes are closed tight.

It is you
whom I love
with all of my might,

It is you
whom I trust
with the rest of my life.

You
gave me your hand
when to sand I gave knee,

You
promised your womb
then delivered our dream.

Always
it was you
before we even met,

And now
it's only you
until my final breath.
