little girl

please forgive me for being blunt
like the ones you rolled with
your eyes covered by the
fingers of someone you used to love
fuck it
i'm forgiving myself
leaving love to do it's job
and i'm letting the guns do the rest
talking isn't necessary, okay
so shut your mouth, bitch
i can say it as easily as the rest
and i'll be the nights you threw away
let the beer talk for you
bull shit is a language and you're
fucking fluent
filling the cracks with old cement light
doesn't need to shine through
not this late in the game
i'm waiting to see if your
eyes roll back and i'll wait even longer
to hear you mutter my name
time is all that is left and
that's fading too
be constant, memories are weak
and even those aren't real anymore
you fabricated them like the
nights and boys who's faces are as
blurry as the dicks you sucked to
hear someone say you're beautiful
so stop the silly games
they won't love you until
you love yourself and you don't
so just leave your legs open
for the parade to march in
beating drums and all, you feel
the love of someone you used to
wish upon stars for
broken hearts are the
soundtrack to hear tonight
fingers are all that's left intertwined like
those jump ropes you played with
not too long ago, little girl
love is a game and you're losing
leaving it all to the professionals
you're not too far away
i'll let the words be road signs
you watch get farther away
leaving this bullshit to someone else
i guess you realize it now
you're too old to throw dreams into the
toilet, purged with last night's vodka

you can forget now
