wow graphic and horrifying stuff.
very dark. but personally i would favor a more humane form of punishment - that said were my kid ever molested, i may have a different opinion on the matter.

I won't comment on this as a poem, or rate it, but I am horrified at the lynch-mob mentality it expresses. Do you realize that pedophiles are usually people who were abused and molested themselves as children? So, when this man's victim grows up through a life of misery and begins, because he is so estranged from normal love and happiness himself, to abuse children, will you advocate the same fate for him too?
What pedophiles, and many others, need, is compassion and understanding to help them overcome the unhappiness that leads them into this kind of behaviour. Your poem expresses the exact opposite of what is needed if we are to have any hope of making this world a better place.

This is a subject that many writers shy away from, so I'm glad to see that you have the courage to voice a strong opinion on it. When I was younger I advocated capital punishment for child molesters (and rapists), but being anti-government sort of made that a paradox. This is more of a contention for mob rule/vigilante-ism and to my mind the role of the state is to protect paedophiles from such acts of rough justice and of course that said vigilante's could be wrong in their judgements and kill an innocent person- same as arguments against capital punishment. The reality of these factors means that scum like this can molest a child and be guaranteed safe haven in protective custody, (with other sex offenders- great for setting up networks), and have their identities protected upon release. In my experience, as a youth and community worker, the social policy means that these 'people' are relocated to the poorest areas in any given nation and in one locality I worked there were at least six that lived near to a school in a 'deprived area'. Of one thing I'm certain- if paedophiles knew that the community would deal out justice they'd probably not do it in the first place and if they did they'd have to answer to the victims of their crime...not be safe behind bars and afforded police protection.
