Thanks for the heart mate. I'm really pleased that I grew up in the sixties when I see how the world appears to be these days. However in reality apart from technology expanding the way it has and me getting older, I don't suppose the human side of life has changed much. The same good and bad keep popping up. As for free love...I don't think is free any more. Somewhere along the line someone has to pay. Thanks again Conor mate. Lindsay

Thank you Ronald for your comment. Oh gosh yeah, we can't have anything natural anymore can we. We just had Brittney Spears over here bringing headlines for lip synching on her shows. I watched a doco on John Lennon in the US recently. The white house did not like him. Thanks Ronald for your great comment mate. Lindsay

I hope you enjoyed 'bad moon rising' Harry. The sixties seemed much better to me, but then again, anytime is the best if you're breathing in and out. Thanks again mate. Lindsay

of yours, I felt free and well, a hippie I guess I've had enough of wars, as per my poem The Duke, give me the folk songs of Caroel King, what a poet she was! Simon and garfunkel and that's real music. Your poem gets me started ilan

How are you going? Thanks for your kind comment. Yes, I still love listening to S & G, and many more of the groups who gave me a lot of pleasure years ago and still do. Not many good protest songs these days, but you may like to listen to 'united breaks guitars on youtube' It near destroyed an airline in the US. Ah, the power of music. Thanks Ilan. Lindsay

You've made me want to write another poem about the sixties! This was great to read and I sure wish I knew the tune you had in your head to go with it. Maybe your daughter will sing it, huh? If she does, I want to buy a copy!!! ;0) Anyway...you gotta heart from me too, Linds. ;0) Julie

Ah, it's so good to hear from you Julie. I gathered you'd been flat out like a lizard drinking. I don't think Megan will bother but you never know. I guess a tune that's already been a huge hit if Kevin Johnson's 'rock and roll gave me the best years of my life' ...now I'm waiting with baited breath for your take on the sixties Julie. Thanks Julie for your comment and heart. Lindsay
