true love...

true love...

if i went blind
would you leave me behind,
or went deaf
would you help,
if i lost my sense of touch
would you still love as much,
or went paralyze
is it then you would realize
that i'm not the one,
or would you stay
with love and care
and still grow with me and share
precious moments of us,
can i put out my trust
that no matter what it's going
to be us to the very end,
or will i once again have to begin
from scratch because you're changing
the way you act, because true love
wouldn't leave if i was blind
it would stay
and love me more each day,
and if i went deaf true love would help
and learn another way to communicate
and be patient and wait,
and if i lost my sense of touch
true love wouldn't see that as a crutch
or if i went paralyze true love would be there
to guide me through it, true love knows it,
true love is beyond what you see,
it's about the inner you and me
touching souls and lovemaking
just by looking into each other eyes
and there through all the stormy tides,
never doubting, always able to keep you smiling,
that's the love i have for you...true love
