        this is such a graphic and powerful poem. this one is so good i don't even remember the first write, but know that i liked it as well...so either one works for me Smile.

      Thanks but I've been around for a while. I have written many poems, Ku is my favorite form.

    US gov putting tons of military and probably every volunteer organization in the western word is there right now. also every west european country has sent and is sending aid, particulary France.
    Remember New Orleans is part of a COUNTRY. Horrible as that was, and still is in many respects, Haiti IS the country! Dominican Republic is also helping. but reluctant to take refugees. (Probably as this may result in half of the countries people coming over and many would want to stay) it is only a small island split in half, after all. About the size of Tennessee!

It's another powerful image and fine haiku. You mentioned adding a picture. Check with mamta. She adds the photos for the "haiku eaters" forum and has helped me many times. -- Will
