Warrior Princess

Bruised and battered
Bleeding within
Feeling tattered
But I won't give in

Crying on my knees
but even now I'm strong
I won't give up, I will not cease
Life is hard, and my road is long

I'm a warrior princess
Still standing tall
Refusing to believe I'm worthless
I'll get up each time I fall

My sword is my mind
My heart is my royal crown
What I seek I will find
In love's waters I won't drown

Won't back down, I will fight
I'll feel the pain, and know I'm alive
Depression, I won't be yours tonight
I choose to push on, and I will thrive

Believing in you, believing in me
Going to laugh, choosing to live
Embracing the mystery of all I can be
I have a heart of gold with so much to give

I'm going to fight for all that's right
Giving you my best, and nothing less
Out of the darkness into the light
I am a warrior princess
