Dead love

Flowers can’t grow in dead soil
And love can’t live in a stoned heart
A gift I wished the lord gave me
Is to see thru hearts
To not break mine
It hurts
The pain is always following me like my shadow
Even my closed eyes can’t hide me
The pictures in mind hunt every dream I have
The exit is to cry?
but Tears are not any more my pain killer
I guess the time will bury my sorrow
And I’ll repeat the same mistake
Again and again
Because simply.. I can’t see thru hearts.

I can simply see a need to let go in this piece. You describe a pain a lot of people feel and go through. I especially liked the first 2 lines. "Flowers can’t grow in dead soil
And love can’t live in a stoned heart", so very true and said beautifully. Enjoyed the read.
