ha ha thanks lindsay. this is one of those silly elections where nobody really wants to vote for any of them, because all three parties promise public service cuts, and higher taxes. so people are just trying to pick the least worst from a bad bunch......again - the puppies for peace party - paul.

oh, they've all got their best suits, and best smiles on for the public. all the politicians remind me of crocodiles...that smile just before they bite - my vote matters...that's why i'm not using it - paul.

i'm pretty sure the babies don't enjoy being kissed by gin soaked lying thieves. nobody in this election represents my views, or the views of anybody i know. i'm just hoping for a sort of coalition government which hopefully will be too busy fighting among itself to do too much damage to the country. as for real change for the better......wellll call me mr sceptical, but there is no chance of that - paul.

I Wouldn't mind gettilng the rilnd if one could actually do something with it! In this country usually they spend most of the time fighting and fillibustering to prove which party has more control, meanwhile the people's laws don't get tended to...

that sounds very familiar gail. laws just get debatted here for years, and years till everybody just loses interest, and forgets about them. e.g. it took over a hundred years to ban fox hunting, and now the probable next government plans to bring it back - foxy.

voting for the " puppies for peace " party miss milmeister ha ha. i've got the kooks album in front of me. i'll give " i want you " a blast before i go out. i've been more in to playing air drums lately, but i'll see if i can remember how to play air guitar....hmmm if i recall, i stand with my feet about three feet apart, then toss my hair backwards and forwards shouting " yeeeeaaaahhhhhh baaaaaaaby " a lot. - thank you my graceful anarchist - al von snufflehound.

thanks tamara. it's odd having an election where nobody seems to want to vote for anybody. people know none of the partys are going to do anything for them....... unless they have their own castle, and a thousand acres of land - we have yet to find true democratic change - paul.

Sorry for being so late commenting this one mate. I've read it a few times and meant to give feedback ages ago, but been well busy lately. I think you accurately summarised the farce of an election campaign and gave some good pointers for direct action too!
I just e-mailed you some info asking for submissions to contribute to an online poetry anthology designed to fight back against the tory/lib dem return to thatcherite britain and it reminded me about this write!
