Taking up Space

Gum chewing, gum snapping
insolent look on your face
pants hanging to your knees
you’re one big disgrace.

Don’t need you in my classroom
taking up space
you’re a poor example
of our human race.

To sit up and pay attention
you don’t have the grace
might as well not even be here
your grades make that case.

You slouch in your seat
the desk top you deface
bet you’ve had your share
of a face full of mace.

I’ll be glad when the semester ends
‘cause I won’t have to see your face
I’ll be smiling when I fail your ass
you won’t be so cool then will you, Ace?
