A Former Mind

Im mentally abused,
Im mentally used.
I have my dark side in which I
Abide.
Its a very wide path of
Destruction. And I have no use
For construction.
I cant get my life straight,
Because my life is full of
Bait.
Art and music are my only escape.
It covers me like a cloak and
Collects dust.
But what is left of a former mind
Is only a shell, a remnant of
What it once was.
