A new type of puppy love.

A new type of puppy love.

My life is twisting and turning,
As you pull me with you,
So much like your dog,
Like something you love.

I feel your love.
Feel the way you just want to control me.
Still my teeth find your skin next to them.
Still my lips find your soft caress.

My body still so very close to you,
Your skin touching mine,
The way you hold me,
The soft embrace you give.

The way I feel with you
So much like wind blowing the trees
So much like the ocean beating the shore
Much like wolfs running in the forest.

Yet my heart pounds,
Like hooves hitting the ground,
To a beat that is not heard,
Or seen but felt.

Then I see that your love is not for an animal.
It is for me.
The silly little girl you’ve always known of.
The lonely little girl with you right there.

First two stanzas best for me. Interesting start.
Wind/trees, ocean/shore: cliches.
Should be "wolves" Last stanza leaves me with a "huh?"
