Winter Land

by jonniblaze

Winter Land
(lyrics)

when love isn't known
you're all alone
you have nowhere to run
and the pain that's inside
gets harder to hide
tears fill your eyes

your heart
is a lonely shore
lost
in your tears
search
for the words to say
as love
slips away...

when a mourning sun
breaking thru the clouds
fails to light the way
comes an artic wind
from a winter land
a heart of frozen tears...

your heart
is a lonely shore
lost
in your tears
search
for the words to say
as love
slips away...

when love isn't known
you're all alone
tears fill your life -

- as the dying embers fade -
- into the night...

...so too - our lives.

Not like you to be so soulfully mournful, nostalgically melancholy: or was that a very long time ago, before you developed an acerbic wit and a panache of charm to sweep any lady off her feet?

i liked it ghostrider. filled with cold, and the use of mourning, instead of morning was a nice touch. geez that's a depressing picture at the top. but at least there is a glimmer of sunlight - love and peace - paul.
