The Matter of Divinity

by Pujakins

God does not begrudge me my wine
for my intoxication is God,
remembrance of one before two.

Intoxication hints of God,
dissolving boundaries
Expanding essence.

Loving God means loving all,
even cockroaches
these too being holy.

So too must I love mine enemy
who somehow demonstrates
the mysterious love of God.

It's hard to love your enemy and those pesky critters but they are God's creatures and we have to love all the creatures. Good poem.
