Who the milk?
Are you skimming me off
Leaving just enough behind
To flavor your world?
It would be a lie to say only
I am happy to be
The milk,
Just under,
Holding up the cream,
Touching yet separated
From the richness of you...
I'd rather take turns,
Mix it up ~
Be the heavy
Then the light--
Just not apart
And longing for balance.
