Blue strands of life

Blue is a beautiful colour
A colour associated with peace and calmness
It stands for stability and intelligence
Then why do we say
I’m feeling so blue?
When we are miserable or disappointed…

good question! I've often wondered why we give associate two different meanings to some colors. Blue peaceful and also sad. Red love and also hate. fun poem.

Good question I feel as well. Maybe they symbolize life's ambivalent feelings; such as life itself. Who knows. Good good good question.
