Same story different guy

I knew one day you would come
And steal this beating heart of mine
I was doing just fine
Until you came along
Singing that stupid love song
Whatever has brought you here to me
Has me wondering if I will ever be
Okay without you lying next to me
You stole my heart
And left your silly little mark
Now what should I do
Since I only have eyes for you
And you left me hanging
With my heart on my sleeve
Instead of in its armor
Where it belongs
My guard is down
All I get is heartache
Every time I try to
Play at the game of Love
