What is love

What is love?
That haunting emotion that we all feel.
It scars our minds with its grinding wheel.
To of loved and lost, to be lost to be found.
But the wisest of us, keep our feet on the ground.

What is love?
I believe it’s a fear of being alone.
For I may be wrong, but my mind has grown.
The tree of love has so many branches.
Leading to other emotions less stunning

What is love?
A curse? A spell? Whatever, in our mind it dwells.
It fuels our journey through life itself.
So keep on searching, if you’re alone.
Myself, my fear it has not grown.

refreshingly open, honest, and enjoyable...like to think of love as a science of infinite possiblilities, and I want to try them all...of course, one can't survive it, but what is it that anyone can survive?.....................michael
