I struggled to find out
Something was worrying me about
What exactly it can be?
Was it fruit laden trees?
It was greatness to be witnessed
Despite being heavily loaded
Tree gives shed and still does not mind
What more we need to find?
Was this the only question at stake?
Do all the answers seem to me as fake?
It was heartening to note that the question was probed
It might have created odd position for me if question was lobbed
It is pertinent and important to know
It must strike the mind and go
As satisfactory answer with full satisfaction
That is feeling with very good indication
Someone asked me to answer
What can you buy with money?
She was all the way sweet honey
I struggled hard but avoided by saying “hey”
Everything except parents and life
Even beautiful model as wife
She said no to it and further poked
She puffed with cigar and room was smoked
You try sincerely but will not find anything
The money may play part but has to do nothing
I will not be simply carried away
Even if you try to search new way
It is me and no one else
I have my own pulse
My own heart and soul
It makes me weary and senses the foul
I had hard way to convince
I did not want words to be minced
It is up to individual to choose
If one is committed to stand firm and not to loose
But it is more of an argument than a stand
One can boost morale and we can understand
But still many you may find clinging to their views
Only handful may realize and appreciated by few
It is good to have principle stand
That can be freely disclosed to friends
After all relation is not based on some returns
It is to be adjusted and fall for it in turn
But money power is not to be taken lightly
So much is said and written very rightly
It has tremendous power to purchase
People may go mad without it and may be chased
Many might have still illusion about real power
You can see high rise buildings and towers
It has very good shine and people fell for
This is the only temptation easily sought for
I replied by saying “yes you are right”
There should not be any argument or fight
You can not be bought at home for money
You are special entity and not the commodity
