Sit me down with spring

Winter twilight paints the spring.
Each night a little closer.
With the smallest of brushes and finest strokes.

On my ears the birdsong, reminiscing, wishing.
Waking from a sleepy slumber
Naked boughs burst into life.
And wash the sleep from their eyes with April rain.
To sit where the bracken guards the fawn.
And await the linnet song once more.

Getting close to a true likeness of a changing scene, nice work, I love the opening description (line), and of course the rest, but great opening line, totally sets the mood of what is to be expected. Liner
