sparky

sparky in the jail the cell
aint feeling very well
pulled a gun on the man
now he's in the can.
counting days til he gets out
don't know what it's all about
thinks he's one big deal
he aint nothing but a fifth wheel.
sitting there on his cot
aint got a whole lot
to make his momma proud
the man made him sing real loud
now everyone knows his name
how he went down in shame
won't have anyone when he gets free
that's just the way his life will be.
