You Made Me

You wonder what happened
where you went wrong
you were such a perfect parent
how could this monster be yours?

Where you went wrong
is easy to answer
how could this monster be yours
is even easier.

You left me alone while
you went to the bars
brought home various uncles
who used me for their pleasure.

You left me alone while
you snorted your cocaine
and let us starve while
you fed your habit.

Oh yeah, you were a perfect mother!
more like a perfect mother f*cker,
but then who am I too judge
as I sit rotting in a jail cell

unable to take one more 'uncle'
using me, abusing me while
you slept off your drugs and
alcohol induced sleep.

Yeah, while you slept I took
care of him so he will hurt
me no more. So, how could
this monster be yours?

Look in the mirror!
