I care about you
I’m glad that you want me to be respectful of me
You came over and we talked along the bay
We will see how things go
WE are looking forward and not going backward

You make my heart skip
I know that we have a lot of things in common
I still want you back into my life
I’ve been searching for love in all the wrong places
I've noticed both of us are focused on our life goals

You are nervous
But, getting to know my father takes time
You are a nice guy
Still need to guard my heart according to what the Bible says

We need guidance and to not be afraid
According to Proverbs 3:5-6
I like spending my time getting to know you
You are helping me to obey God
I need to not trust in my own understanding
Everything will happen in God's timing
I like how we are taking things slow and finding out where we go

When I do everything crumbles like a ton bricks
But I need to take out time to discover who you really are
My parents think that you are nice
