My Shadow

Are you my shadow

Pulling me into your embrace

Breathing
putting life inside of
me

Is it my turn to breathe

quench this fire
Hear my cry of relief

You are my shadow
not bound
not confined
or detained
by nature or force

I am your sacrifice
giving it all
to
you

Willing to be loved
by warm
attatchment

Breathe
and let go
over and over again

Reducing every gap
that is between
us

Desire and excitement
unable to find
self

Stay close to me
my shadow
