A Prayer for Purity (12/1/2008)

Lord Jesus, today I pray, for purity that I might honor Your Name.
That my flesh would be settled, thus calming my mind.
That my spirit triumphs, over sin of this kind.
That I live to bring honor, and glorify Your Name.
That my life is a sacrifice, offered up without shame.
That I'd forego every indulgence, living wholy for You.
That I'd take up Your Armor, and fight fresh and anew.
That Your Blood be not trampled, that Grace would abound.
But that every Letter of Your Truth, in my heart would be found.
