Meadows

by omegapaf

Falling into the black
tiny white hands pull me back
both of us falling
though to shy to be heeding the calling
moving again like sailors at sea
new lives for us three
maybe to be free
or to lie in the lea

Free you will be each time we speak. For the sea will carry you cry across heavens wings and there will be no need to fall shy when you come by. I couldn't help myself. -- Friend For Life -- Christa Wink

poems that require more than one read tend to be growers for me and this is one of them. It exuded for me the yearning of a new dawn or a move on that we all face at times in our lives (some of us dance more than others i guess)...db

thanks blues. this was written at a time in my life when it was still uncertain whether i would be able to make it back, or not, from a tragedy. thanks so much for reading, especially more than once - love and peace - paul.
