I see a light when I close my eyes.

Many things done, many things said.
Hard to remember, no one to blame.
Staying the course, keeping the faith.
Forget what they chose, forget all the fame.

At the end of the day,
what you see is what you get,
even if the prices you pay
weren't already set.

Feel the life and tell me if you dare,
to believe that everything will soon end.
Think of the things we haven't seen there,
all the things in the space that we can't bend.

And even if the darkness comes about,
and there's nothing that an eye can size.
Makes no difference if nothing stands out,
I can see a light when I close my eyes.
