out of the gore
up out of the trenches
the stink of fetid lives
swim draped weeping
out of dry blooded tears
squeezed out of gaping
sockets
aborted
hanging
as charging
expended
exhausted
over the top
running
always crippled
in arms hands burst in blisters
in the soothing
rain
of lead and bullets ripping torn thoughts and toxic venoms
tearing integrity apart of life wholed
smattered mud smeared in depravities
applied to the wounds
felt unobvious
while suckling lungs
burst in hope
despaired
while the acid
of souls
burned away the caustic
of soles
trampled and smudged
crucified
to one iron cross
me
on lifes whims
despited
in the nails of the madness of sanity
always prevailed
in the curtain shroud
drawn asunder
while
going over the top
father forgive them
they no not what they do
mantras in meaningless
re-winds
cast
stoned
glass life cracked.
clapppps mortared
in
thunder is applause
alone

This is powerful. And commentary that seems accurate of all life since it began its struggle. I am glad you do not feel the urge to advise as so many poets do, to wrap your thoughts in cushioned lies. Seeing and saying what one sees is advice enough. 2 hands drooping may well be the meaning of life, a final summation, when all is said and done. This too, begs performance.
