The Belly of Greed

A tunnel runs deep into the mouth of Abyss
That seems to have no visible end
But snakes and ladders in some wild trips.
A gulping goad with a growing trend.

The banks of oceans envy its thirst
The home of winds revile its lungs
The finest of the earth's makes its best
Of wealth insatiably it doth longs

Wine and bread are its tidal feasts
Gains of life are its colossal means
Lives worth nothing in the eyes of this beast
A devouring lion hunger bravery brings
