Thank you for contributing to GotPoetry.com. We accept several types of submissions. The following are the highlights.



News		 Use the handy form to submit all poetic news, press releases, book reviews, promotions, event listings. Feel free to submit anything a poet would be interested in. Our editors will decide if it fits what our readers are typically interested in. Please, no poetry.



Poems		 Submit your original poetry! We accept most genres and forms. Have people rate your poems from your own website. Submit one poem or several at once. Once the poem is reviewed to make sure it's actually a poem, it will appear in the poetry section.



Events		 If you run or attend a regular event or if you like to submit a single special event, this is where to do it. On the calendar BROWSE TO THE SPECIFC DAY YOUR EVENT IS ON and then click the submit button on that day. Regular or reoccuring events can be chosen from the specific day you would like your event to start on. If you submit your event on the wrong date, it will not be published.



Books, DVD's and CD's		 Submit your books, cd's and dvd's! We accept most genres of poetry media. Have people rate your book from your own website. Submit one chapbook, book, CD or DVD or all of your product at once. Once your product is reviewed to make sure it's actually what you say it is, it will appear in the product section.



Downloads		 We accept audio recordings of poetry, videos of poetry and electronic texts in the downloads section.



Links		 Submit a link to your site or to a site that is a favorite of yours.



Forums		 If you wish to submit poems for critique and work shopping, use the Poetry Workshop Forums. If you'd like to just talk poetry, that's fine too.
