I'm going to vote yes to this question but I really like your front page "news". It could be improved by making it more inviting to read but I'm not quite smart enough to know how to do that part. I just know, with some imaginative reconsiderations it could be more inviting to read. Maybe more exposure to its timely contents like "Headlines" on each member's home or front page? Then the member is given a choice. Just my input.

This means when you go to www.gotpoetry.com you will see whatever page you want instead of the current news and poems screen that is there. So you could specify that if you are logged in and you go to this site you could see the forums first... or the poems section.
