I like the way you set this all up - I am a member of other poetry forums and this is the most active one I've seen yet!
SO THANKS!
Steph

thankyou for gotpoetry. this site means a great deal to me. some of the people i have met on here, are some of the most wonderfull people i have met in my life.- love and peace- paul.p.s. i just found out you are english, i'm english too, from sunderland. which part of london are you from.
Originally I'm from Chatham but born in London. I'm in the States now.
hey, hey! j. powers!!! i haven't seen you since... man, 2003 i think. yeah, 2003. i'm sure you don't remember me, but i sure as hell remember you!

it was in Providence at AS220 --- that was THE VERY FIRST time i ever heard a spoken word piece & a poetry slam live. you were the main host, along with jared paul. you had spit one in between either the youth slam & featured speaker, or during the open mic session that happened right before the youth slam. it may sound like nothing much to you, but ever since then i've been HOOKED on spoken word.
anyways. well, i just wanted to say thanks for the comment & rating on "Verse 2: Queen To King.." i really appreciate it.
HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Wow, thats great! I'm glad you have that memory. Its been a long time.
yeah I'd also like to thank you for taking the time to comment on my poems. thanks for building the site and making it better every time.
Thanks for reading and commenting on a few of my poems. I really appreciate it. Constructive criticism is nothing but a good thing. I also appreciate your site! Thanks for building it.
I need friends lol. I figured... who better than the guy that runs the operation? And yeah, I don't get it: I don't read a poem without rating AND commenting on it; that's half the fun.
Thanks for commenting on my poem. It feels good to know people read atleast some of the stuff I write.
It looks to me like you get a lot of reads, just not a lot of comments. Poets are strange. Why don't they comment?!
thank for putting my poem in the right spot... Karen

I don't ever mind fixing things...
i just posted a poem called Lover i put it under general poems and should have be put under sexual poetry... Is there a way that can be changed?

Karen
