| Biography: |
Born in Erie, PA in 1948. Have lived in Erie and State College, PA, Bristol, VT, Lewisville, Dallas, and Fort Worth, TX, Brandon and Tampa, FL and currently reside in Sumter, SC. After 12 years I am finally working on publication of my second book of poetry. My first book, Where Willows Weep, was published in 1996.
My husband and I do cat rescue in our area. We have captured many cats, which we get neutered or spayed, and then place in homes. Of course, some of them never leave and we have ended up with 7 of our own. We also care for strays that cannot be socialized and placed in homes. Currently we have two that had to be released back to the outdoors, but they do come for a meal at least once a day so we know they are doing fine. There are a lot of stories, with these cats, and someday I may write a book about them.
I have always enjoyed sports and, while I could, played tennis, bowled, tried golfing (there’s a story there), did downhill and cross country skiing. I still love to walk and do that whenever possible.
Marriages: have had 3 of them. I just call them husband #1, husband #2 and husband #3. First time I was 20 last time I was 54, and we’ve been married 6 years.
At age 50 I decided to make a dream come true and partnered up with an old friend, from Erie, PA, and we started our own music production/promotion company out of Tampa, FL. FMM Productions lasted 3 years and we produced two CD’s and assisted on others for The Living Zoo. We also did a lot of promotional works for other groups. It was fun while it lasted, but all good things must end and we both moved on to other ventures.
I’m not one of those people who want to be young again…wishes for my youth… I am more interested in what new adventure awaits me around the next corner. My dream is to someday buy an RV and just drive and travel the states. |

hy im having trouble entering into slams. my cursor doesnt turn to a hand or a pointer when i put it over "empty slots". message me please i would like to enter a slam.
