Exalt - Smite
La Casa de la Bruja

Bienvenidos a mi casa;
Aye, mi vida do not be afraid.
Do not look at the cage in the corner,
or the knives on the table.
Abuela welcomes you.
Have a sweet, eat a treat.
Por favour-que pasa?
did i not say you shoud not be afraid?
Beinvenidos a la casa-
La Casa de la Bruja...

londi...'s recent Blog entry. my story.....part 6 ( 122 reads) Wednesday, November 04, 2009 (09:37:00)

I rubbed my hands up and down my arms, not because i was cold, but because i missed the warmth of Devyn's body next to mine. I watched him maneuver his way through the throngs of people engulfed in gossip, and froze as a cold, clammy hand touched my lower back.
"it is Heather, isn't it?" asked Lord Oliver. I didn't understand how i could have missed his rancid odour, which i was sure that anyone in a twelve mile radius could.
"yes, My Lord. How are you?" i said. being polite to Father's friends was the least i could do...
"I'm splendid, Dear Girl. but may i ask you a favour?"
"Of course." I said, already dreading the thought of having said them.
"My partner unfortunately fell ill this afternoon, and i have no one nearly as lovely as you to dance with, would you do me the honour or accepting?"
I glanced back at Devyn and he followed my eyes.
"I'm sure the young man won't mind...it will only be one dance after all."
i held out my hand and grimaced as his touched my gloved one.

Devyn watched as the older man led heather onto the dance floor and proceeded to dance to the music, with the grace of a bull in a china store.
arms and legs kicked when they shouldn't and the poor man's tongue was intent on making a guest appearence. during all this Heather tried her best to flow with her partners spasmodic movements and kept her face composed...well, almost. he felt a presence at his side and a gloved hand fall on his sleeve.
"it is time for the waltz." she said and swept him away, his eyes burning holes into the back of the old man dancing with Heather."
