Why Wonder 'bout Life.

James Earl Miller 1960 (Lessingburg)

Whenever I walk alone
and gaze at the stars above
I think of emotions we have and
why some have no room for love

It's strange when I think about it
We have many goals to forsee-
But, if we just lay back
Like a dream, those goals won't be

We have lots of time and feelings
with especially love to share
it hurts me deep inside
When people just don't care

As I return to my doorstep
With plans for tomorrow in mind
I think of how fortunate we are
and all the joy we've yet to find.
