God's Purpose

On occasion without answer
Feeling lost not pleasant
Perhaps the answer was present
Not able to be recognized
My sight blurred in both eyes
Unwilling to listen, unable to see
The past or what the future will be
Thoughts clouded in anger
Barren of positive behavior
Each day seemingly stranger
I sought direction
I seek direction still
Centered around His will
What I do, I cannot do alone
Permanent change remains hardened like stone
No purpose is baptized
No wicked desire in fact died
Purpose can advance
Even though at first glance
Spiritual guidance can be tough
God may not seem like enough
Instead we chip away, look for the pieces
While observing from above his love never ceases
He helps put us back together
Our divine bond connected forever
I hear Him loudly now, my vision clear
At peace as his purpose remains near
