If I Didn't Who Would

If I didn't who would,
Pretend to stop minding my own business.
Could be beneficial,
To a curiosity for more to know...
Exactly what people are thinking.
When to tell someone else told,
That should mind their own business.
With a doing to leave them alone,
After being asked...
Why they are as close as they can be,
Attempting to hear two people whispering.
In each other's ears.
On a crowded busy noisy urban street.
Trying to share a private conversation!

If I didn't ask,
From someone not minding their business.
Yet...
Making what they do,
Too noticeable to refuse...
A wanting to know,
What is going on...
That attracts them so much.
They would say to someone else,
"Leave me alone.
And mind your own business."

Especially when,
The doing of that...
Is difficult to do.
When closer gets their nose to listen,
To a private conversation...
Unavoidable that attracts others.
As to what,
Could possibly be so interesting.
To someone with a nose,
That close to being stuck up a butt.
With the possibility,
Of getting two butts stucked up.
Worth the price,
To be publicly embarrassed.
Yet not concerned at all when told,
"Do you mind?
We are having an A to B conversation.
Immediately C your way out of it!"

If I didn't who would or could,
Dare to be...
That obviously seeking attention!
Without them not attempting to be,
Discreet on the streets where they live!

'Excuse me.
Do you have any idea,
Why the police have hand cuffed...
And arrested those two young people?'

'No.
I'm sorry I do not.
However...
It has been said,
By professional town gossipers.
That they had been,
Whispering about...
Publicly exposing themselves.
And...
That's all I could get close enough to hear.
Before making it clear to the police,
I had been minding my own business.
When then I took it upon myself to notice,
My attempt to do that,
Made the cat it me become more curious!'

'So...
You have no idea who called the police?'

'No. Nope. None.
All I know,
Was that after I had crossed the street.
I turned around.
And could not believe,
What behind me was going on.
I keep my nose where it belongs.'
