My mom's perfume
Rohit Singh 2002 (DELHI)
To that happiest aura I was born in
My arrival being considered that of a goddess
Those little hands would turn things to gold they say
My smile scented of my mom’s perfume.
She said my eyes were like twinkies
The lips formed of very rose petals
And that I would still be young in my eighties
More than the body, my soul scented
Of my mom’s perfume.
I, so filled with love was taught to respect all
She said everyone’s teacher for they teach something big or small
I was born as a queen to solve lives
My values scented of my mom’s perfume.
As so grown to be mature
In love I devoted all my self
I learned how I she believed trust being above all
My life scented of my mom’s perfume.
